We are looking for an experienced professional to join our team as Director of
LEED Project Management. This team member must be attentive to detail,
professional, communicative, and results-oriented. He or she must be able to
take the initiative, follow-through, and work in a key capacity on a variety of
green building projects. This position is located in Middleburg, Virginia.
Responsibilities
As Director of LEED Project Management, you will:
-Coordinate with project owners and design teams to complete design phase
applications
-Walk clients through Minimum Project Requirements and design phase credits
-Provide technical guidance for completion of credits
-Organize and manage conference calls
-Edit drawings and project documents
-Review documents for compliance with construction phase LEED requirements
-Help contractors track their progress with their LEED project goals
-Review, respond to, and organize compliance with requirements
Qualifications
-Confidence with clients, an ability to be the "voice" of the company
-A degree in environmental science, or related field
-Knowledge of the LEED rating systems
-Knowledge or experience with green building projects
-An understanding of what qualifies products as green materials
-Ability to communicate with contractors about green project requirements
-An ability to conduct (online) research about green materials and products
-Expert user of Microsoft Word and Excel applications
-A knack for finding gaps in data, and solutions to those gaps
